The Country of Austria

One of the reasons I chose Austria to research was that I personally really like this country and it’s geography. Austria was founded in 1804. Austria is a German-speaking country in central Europe. It’s population is 8.474 million people. A couple of years after the country was established, an empire named Austria-Hungary was formed.  The Austro-Hungarian Empire existed from 1867 until 1918, when it collapsed as a result of defeat in World War I.
