Class Evaluation

            Somethings I like and enjoy in this class is using computers. I enjoy using computer because all day in very class i write and using computers is a nice change. Learning to type fluently is one of the perks of being in this class.

            Something i do not like in this class is that it's very quiet and at time, makes my want to go to sleep.

            One thing I need to improve in this class is i need to type more in my reflections. I also need to improve on my speed  of typing.

            I really tried to do my best in this class. I did all the assignment in this class and for that reason, I am passing with a 88% in this class which is a A

             The video we just saw showed the lesson the little boy had to learn for disobeying his parent. His parent had clearly told him to wear shoes when he verntured out into the desert but he didn't listen. Because he didn't listen he got stinged by a scorpion.

Health Science Librarian

Duties and responsibilities:

Health science librarians help health providers, patients, and students sort through the vast amount of information available. Health science librarians work in a variety of places such as the library of a health organization, a pharmaceutical company, health information centers, and medical schools.

Salary:

Education:

Individuals interested in becoming a medical librarian must complete a 4-year baccalaureate program in any discipline they choose. The most common majors for health science librarians include biology, library sciences, management, or health information.

Demand or need for this profession:

Employment of librarians is projected to grow 2 percent from 2014 to 2024, slower than the average for all occupations. Thanksgiving Week

One thing I did during my thanksgiving weekend was that I went to my aunt's house. When I was there, we had a thanksgiving meal, but I don’t like turkey so all I had was mash potatoes. Also, this pass week I had to do homework. It was difficult because I had to do a brochure about the medical topics like Goat or Lupus. I had trouble because I didn’t know how to make a brochure on google docs or microsoft word. I personally don’t like going shopping during black friday because I find that very stupid that people try to buy this that they don’t need. They just buy it because it's on sale. But most of the week I relaxed. It was a nice week.

Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday celebrated in Canada and the United States. It was originally celebrated as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. Several other places around the world observe similar celebrations. Although Thanksgiving has historical roots in religious and cultural traditions, it has long been celebrated in a secular manner as well.

Vanguard High School

            This video we watch was about a basketball team (Gainesville Tornadoes) who almost never had fans cheer for them during their basketball games. So what the opposing team (Vanguard) was that they asked some of their own fans and cheerleaders to cheer for Gainesville basketball team. They were shocked because they weren't used to this situation.

Homecoming

What Is it?

Homecoming is an annual tradition in the United States. People, towns, high schools, and colleges come together, usually in late September or early October, to welcome back alumni and former residents. It is built around a central event, such as a banquet and, most often, a game of football, or, on occasion, basketball, ice hockey or soccer. When celebrated by schools, the activities vary widely. However, they usually consist of a football game played on a school's home football field, activities for students and alumni, a parade featuring the school's marching band and sports teams, and the coronation of a Homecoming Queen (and at many schools, a Homecoming King).

History:

The 1911 Kansas vs. Missouri football game is one of several claimed to be the first college football homecoming game. The tradition of Homecoming has its origin in alumni football games held at colleges and universities since the 19th century.

Why Celebrate it?

Those who return to their high school for homecoming after having graduated do so to celebrate their high school, see old friends and remember memories of that time of their lives. Students who are currently in high school celebrate homecoming to show school spirit and support whatever athletic teams and clubs are going on during that period of time.

Emergency Medical

Technician

Duties and responsibilities:

EMTs are clinicians, trained to respond quickly to emergency situations regarding medical issues, traumatic injuries and accident scenes. Ear Nose Throat Doctor

Duties and responsibilities:
Ear, nose, and throat specialists, also known as otolaryngologists or ENT specialists, are medical doctors responsible for surgical and medical treatment of the ears, nose, and throat, as well as the related head and neck areas.
